Mediator Vacancy Update

In August, the Board posted two mediator vacancies. We are pleased to announce that one of the vacancies has been filled. 

Specifically, we are thrilled to announce that Mark Brown will be joining the Board as a full - time Mediator, effective November 3, 2025. Mark has been a highly respected labour relations neutral for almost 30 years. During his tenure at the Board from 1996 to 2010, Mark held various positions: Vice Chair, Manager of Mediation Services, and Associate Chair of Mediation and Registrar. Since 2010, Mark has developed a successful private mediation/arbitration practice. Mark's return to the Board allows him to focus on his passion - collective bargaining mediation.

The selection process for the other vacancy remains ongoing.
