We write to advise that Lorie Hrycuik has been appointed Deputy Minister of Labour effective May 12, 2025 (719 KB). DM Hrycuik has served as Assistant Deputy Minister of Labour since May, 2022.

DM Hrycuik replaces DM Mary Sue Maloughney who was appointed in November, 2024 and who takes over as DM Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation effective May 12, 2025.

Both DM Maloughney and DM Hrycuik have been incredibly supportive of the work of the Board and the needs of the labour relations community. It has been a pleasure working with both of them. We wish DM Maloughney much success in her new position and look forward to continuing to work with DM Hrycuik in her new role.
